Fractional Leadership
Senior thinking, at the moment it matters.
The organisations that navigate AI well won't be the ones that moved fastest. They'll be the ones that thought most clearly. This is what fractional leadership is for.
The offer
Most organisations approaching an AI transition don't need another consultant with a framework. They need someone who understands that technology is only ever an enabler. Someone who will tell them honestly what's working, what isn't, and help them make sound, human-centred strategic decisions.
That's what fractional leadership is. Not project delivery. Not a vendor relationship. A senior thinking partner, engaged at the right level of intensity for the work, for as long as the work requires.
We bring experience across the full range, from board-level strategy to hands-on architecture, to inform your direction and support the work of transformation.
How we work
Strategic Clarity
A focused engagement to work through what AI transformation actually means for your organisation. Not in the abstract, but specifically. Where you are. What you are carrying. What a grounded path forward looks like. Ends with clear priorities and a shared language for the work ahead.
Typically 4–8 weeks
Thinking Partner
Ongoing fractional presence alongside your leadership team. One to two days a week. Not to run a workstream, but to help you think. Useful when the pace of change is high and you need someone in the room who has navigated this before and will tell you what they actually think.
3–12 months · rolling
Programme Assurance
An independent review of an AI or data programme already in motion. Architecture, governance, risk posture, team capability. Honest assessment of what is working, what is fragile, and what needs attention before it becomes a problem.
Fixed scope · 2–4 weeks
Who this is for
- Leadership teams navigating AI adoption who need strategic thinking, not another vendor
- Organisations in highly regulated environments (healthcare, life sciences, public sector) where the stakes are real and the governance matters
- Boards and executive teams who want a clear-eyed view of what AI means for their organisation before committing to a direction
- Organisations with AI programmes in flight that would benefit from independent senior review
Start here
The right starting point is a conversation. Not a brief, not a proposal. Just an honest exchange about where your organisation is, what you're navigating, and whether this kind of engagement would actually be useful.
If it isn't the right fit, that's worth knowing early. If it is, we'll work out what makes sense from there.
