Minimum Viable Governance is now available on the site. It is free, it takes about twenty minutes, and as it ships today it runs entirely in your browser - nothing you type is sent anywhere.
The idea behind it is the smallest amount of governance that keeps you, your people, and the people you serve safe. Not the most defensible amount. Not the amount an auditor would prefer. The smallest amount that is honestly keepable, on the grounds that a small set of promises somebody actually keeps protects people better than a large set nobody reads.
It is built for organisations that are too small for a governance board and too exposed to go without one. Charities. Practices. Churches. Teams inside larger organisations who have been handed a responsibility without a framework to carry it in.
How it works
The framework is eleven promises and six moments. A promise is a specific commitment to a named person, stating the harm it prevents - not a control expressed as risk paperwork. A moment is a point where a decision gets made and a promise either holds or does not.
The builder walks you through both. At the end you get a written governance playbook: who has promised what, when it gets checked, and an honest account of what you are deliberately not covering. That last part matters more than it sounds. Most governance documents fail by implying coverage they do not have.
What it does not do
It does not assess you, score you, or certify anything. There is no maturity rating at the end. It produces a document you wrote, which you can defend because you wrote it.
The two AI-assisted review passes described in the framework are staged but not yet built - the deterministic parts are what ships today. When those arrive they will need to send your text to a model to work, so they will be opt-in and clearly marked. The browser-only promise above describes what is live now, and we will not quietly change it.
